How We Started
A mentor's question, not a business plan
Before Events by Neriah existed, Claribel Enang was planning something else entirely — an ushering agency. She brought the idea to her mentor, half-expecting a nod of approval. He asked a different question instead: why not go all in on event planning? She'd already been doing exactly that for years, unpaid, at every event she could volunteer for — and it was always where she did her best work.
That question was the whole plan. She trained formally, earned her certification, and built Events by Neriah into a full planning studio for weddings and corporate events alike — proof that the best businesses sometimes start with someone finally admitting what they're already good at.
Today, that same instinct runs every event on our calendar: one dedicated planner per client, a transparent budget from the first conversation, and a live portal where you can see exactly what's happening with your event, any time you check.
Claribel Enang
Founder & Lead Planner
Claribel didn't ease into event planning — she arrived already knowing she was good at it, from years spent volunteering at other people's events before she ever ran her own. Now a certified event planner, she holds every Events by Neriah project to the same standard that got her here: notice the detail nobody else would, and fix it before anyone has to ask.
What We Value
The principles behind every event we run
Client-first communication
You'll always know where your event stands — no chasing us for updates on budget, tasks, or vendors.
Meticulous attention to detail
From seating charts to load-in times, we track the small things so nothing surprises you on the day.
Vetted, reliable vendors
Every photographer, caterer, and decorator in our network has been tested on a real event, not just a portfolio.
Calm under pressure
Things shift on event day. We handle it quietly, so you and your guests never notice a thing.
